Nitin Nohria is the tenth dean of Harvard Business School from July 2010. He previously served as co-chair of the Leadership Initiative, Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Development, and Head of the Organizational Behavior unit. His intellectual interests center on human motivation, leadership & corporate transformation and sustainable performance. He is ranked in the Thinkers 50.

He has co-written or co-edited 16 books, and is author of more than 50 articles and dozens of teaching cases. Nohria received his bachelor of technology degree in chemical engineering in 1984 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which awarded him its distinguished alumnus medal in 2007. He received his Ph.D. in management in 1988 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
